Stephen was a member of Victory Lutheran Church at Sawyer. He was also an elder of the church and often drove the church bus. He was always willing to volunteer whenever there was a need. Stephen took pleasure in working with the youth in the church and community. He enjoyed weight lifting, water and snow skiing and cooking. He was famous for his German chocolate cake, which was his mother’s recipe. His family will always remember him as a loving husband and father, a man who had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and one who knew intimately the meaning of John 3:16.
