One of his soldiers remembered SSG Plumb with these words -This man right here never failed to put a smile on my face. I bothered him for 7 months demanding a hug. For 7 months he told me to go pound sand. I had my motorcycle accident and he gave me a hug. One night he came to the same bar I was at and forced me to talk about what was going on in my head. If it wasn’t for this man right here I wouldn’t be alive today. I fully mean that. RIP Brother it has been an honor to serve and share laughs and jokes with you.
