Age – 26
Frankenmuth, MI

Died in a motorcycle accident in El Paso, TX
Daniel Weber was ushered into heaven on Friday, May 13, 2011 when he miscalculated a curve on a dark, unfamiliar road on his motorcycle near El Paso, Texas.
Daniel was raised in Frankenmuth, MI where he attended St. Lorenz Lutheran School and Church, and graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 2003.
In 2005 he answered a call to serve his country alongside both of his brothers, and joined the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout. Upon graduation from basic training, Daniel married his best friend, Anne (Romatz) Weber on December 4, 2005. Daniel served two tours of duty in Iraq, receiving a purple heart in June of 2007 when he was blown out of his HMVV by an IED enroute to his re-enlistment ceremony.
After being treated for his injuries, Daniel went through with his re-enlistment later that same day. When Daniel was discharged from the Army in January of 2010 he went to work for the El Paso Mental Health Center in their Veterans Rally Point Program where he served as a peer-to-peer counselor with veterans suffering from combat related psychological problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder. He loved his motorcycle, he loved his family, he was devoted to helping soldiers and veterans heal from the emotional wounds of battle, but above all of that, Daniel loved his very best friend and wife, Anne.
