Specialist Leach serving with the U.S. Army as a Specialist-4, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2003 in Kattenbach, Germany. Brock was 25 years old.
Brock was born in Flint, MI on November 9, 1977, and was the son of Roger and Diane (Rose) Leach. He was a graduate of the Class of 1996 from Millington High School. While in High School, Brock participated in Wrestling and Football. After High School, Brock attended Grand Rapids Community College where he played football and played a vital roll in their team going to the Rotary Dixie Bowl in Lake George, Utah.
In April of 2001 Brock made a big decision in his life. It was then that after attending college Brock joined the U.S. Army. He attended Boot Camp at Fort Leonard in Missouri. When he graduated from Boot Camp in September of 2001 Brock was assigned a tour overseas in Kattenbach, Germany. Many will miss Brock and forever remember him as one who could always be counted on when help was needed. Remembered as one with a big heart, full of fun, and lived life to its fullest. He was very proud to be serving his country and known to be a true blue Lions fan, and a Michigan Wolverine fan.
Brock leaves to always cherish his memory his family. Parents, Roger and Diane Leach; Brother, Nick Leach, all of Millington, MI; Fiancee, Steffi Stappenbacher and son Darion of Kattenbach, Germany; Grandmothers, Mrs. Beverly Wanamaker.
