He was a 1999 graduate of Clarkston High School. Ryan was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a proud Infantryman, where he served four tours between Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a recipient of a Purple Heart. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Ryan was employed as a Personal Trainer. He loved to teach, coach and work out and he was great at it. Ryan was co-facilitator for Tribe Talks with counselor and friend Melissa Engle, building bridges of hope and connection for other vets.
