Killed by an accidental discharge of his weapon when he fell off a ladder

Born November 6, 1977 in Royal Oak, Sgt Reynolds grew up in Detroit and graduated from E. Lansing High in 1996; joined the U.S. Army after high school and was extremely proud to be a Sergeant with the Rangers. He lived life reflected in Values of Ranger Creed.

Army Sgt. Reynolds was climbing up into a building that his unit was going to occupy when he slipped from a ladder and his M4 rifle discharged, killing him.

Sean enlisted in the Army at age 17, right after graduating from East Lansing High School. He served in the Army Rangers, one of the military’s elite units, and saw his work as a way to help people in need. Sean went to basic training in Georgia’s Fort Benning and then went through grueling training sessions to become an Army Ranger. The Army Rangers are an elite special-operations unit of the army that would take Sean on many secret missions over the years. Sean was a happy-go-lucky, easygoing, smiling kid with a lot of friends. He loved movies, “The Simpsons” and his mom’s cooking. After his enlistment, he wanted to join the Air Force Reserves and go to college. Most of all, he wanted to get married and have a house full of kids.
